Lilydale makes it a priority to support those who share our vision and values. Our commitment to excellence extends beyond the boundaries of everyday business. We actively seek to offer financial support to organizations that are as passionate as we are about healthy living through wellness and nutrition and providing wholesome meals to the less fortunate in communities across Canada.

The key thrust of our Community Relations Programs is in our efforts of supporting our local employee and grower communities.  In these efforts, our focus is on:

• Helping to feed and provide for the less fortunate in our communities
• Supporting health and nutrition initiatives, especially in our youth

We receive many donation, sponsorship and in-kind requests per month through phone calls, emails and regular mail.

The Sponshorship and Donation Committee reviews requests on a monthly basis, and will respond to your applcation as soon as possible.

Funding Areas

Lilydale’s budget for Regional and Corporate Donations and Sponsorships has remained the same from the past number of years, but the number of requests has increased significantly.  At this time, Lilydale is not considering requests that are greater than $2,000.

Criteria

Please take a moment to browse through our donation criteria.  If you feel you would be a good fit for a Lilydale charitable donation, please complete the attached form.

• Preference will be given to organizations that:
• Are registered charitable organizations demonstrating community support and involvement
• Are compatible with Lilydale’s social responsibility objectives
• Make a significant contribution to the well-being and vitality of community life in locations that we operate
• Have measurable impacts and achievements
• Provide opportunities for Lilydale employees and retirees to contribute their volunteer time to enhance the effort being funded.

Exclusions

The following may not be eligible for support:

• Advertising and promotions
• Religious or church organizations (except for secular services offered on a non-denominational basis)
• Fraternal organizations, commercial solicitors or third parties (professional fundraisers) raising funds for a charity
• Generic requests that may have been sent to various organizations
• Sponsorship of an individual
• Named academic chair ships or fellowships
• Political or partisan organizations
• Reducing debts or past operating ventures
• Tickets for contests, raffles or other fund-raising activities with prize
• Travel for individuals or groups
• Underwriting of films, televisions or video productions
• Arts and cultural programs, except those related to health and nutrition education
• Capital, building and endowment campaigns
• Individual attendance to conferences, seminars and similar activities
• Organizations that practice discrimination on the basis of race, creed, gender, age, sexual preference or national origin
• Sporting teams and events including golf tournaments and runs and races
• School fundraising initiatives
• Courtesy/goodwill advertising
• Projects outside of Canada
