Lilydale’s commitment to strive for excellence extends beyond the boundaries of everyday business. We make it a priority to support organizations that are as passionate as we are about healthy living through wellness and nutrition in the communities that we operate in. Lilydale has been a strong supporter of the United Way, Edmonton Capital Region, for many years and continues to raise awareness and funds through our annual workplace campaigns. We feel that through the United Way we are able to help many smaller charities and causes within our communities. Our relationship with the United Way has led to a very strong connection with Edmonton’s Food Bank. Lilydale donates product throughout the year to the Food Bank as well as partnering with the CBC in their annual Turkey Drive in December. Unfortunately, a sad reality is that children are often some of the less fortunate. Children are Canada’s future and we feel strongly that they should be supported today so that they can reach their full potential tomorrow. Therefore, in a newly-developed partnership with Alberta’s Promise and Breakfast for Learning Canada, Lilydale has committed to help provide wholesome meals throughout the school year to select schools in our local communities. While we appreciate the opportunity to invest in your initiative, Lilydale is committed to multi-year agreements with the United Way, The Food Bank and Breakfast for Learning, and will therefore be unable to be of assistance to you at this time. Our community investment program is assessed on a biennial basis. In the meantime, we send you our best wishes and every success in obtaining your goals.
